Downhole Tools
DX - Downhole: Original downhole tool, tubing conveyed (threaded on end of tubing. Used in vertical wells with liquid loading issues.
DXBN - Bullnose: Tool-tubing conveyed, predominantly used in conjunction with coil tubing in relatively shallow wells.
DXI - Inline: Tubing conveyed, threaded on both ends to allow for usage in either vertical or horizontal wells. Can be run with muleshoe or stringer below tool.
DXPL - Plunger Lift: Primary Application: Efficient movement of fluids up tubing. Assists plunger lift systems during free flow period. Ideal Conditions: Gas production with associated water. Sufficient energy (velocity) to create helical flow.
DXR - Retrievable: Slick line set and retrieve tool, used in vertical and deviated hole wells, offers ability for quick and inexpensive installation and retrieval. Can be set with collar stop or in seating/profile nipples.
